E-commerce and E-procurement development
Although there are many e-Commerce solutions, there are effectively two types of application. Business to Consumer (B2C), where businesses promote and sell their goods and services to the public, usually via secure credit card transactions; Business to Business (B2B), where companies use e-Commerce tools to buy or sell products or services from each other, often termed e-Procurement. Pinnacle Internet has the skills and experience to analyse, design and develop a sucessful e-Commerce system to suit a client's business.
Intranet and Extranet development
Designing for Intranets presents different opportunities to websites. Pinnacle has proven experience in exploiting a web browser interface to its fullest potential. Intranet applications can provide greater freedom for designers and allow the developers and programmers to concentrate their focus on specific integration and functionality requirements. We are familiar with the W3C and RNIB guidelines for accessibility, as well as working within specific guidelines such as the e-envoy guidelines for government and the NHS web guidelines. Current Intranet customers include Homerton University Hospital, The London Ambulance Service and Freedman International.
Multimedia development
Pinnacle has developed numerous multimedia CD-ROMs for corporate marketing. Typically these carry a combination of video clips, photo libraries and technical information that can be saved direct from the CD-ROM for editorial press use. Some of the CD-ROM's have been created in multi-lingual versions covering many European languages. A particular specialism is development of CD-ROMs for the automotive industry to compliment literature for new car launches across Europe. We have also developed CD-ROMs that provide information and tools to help employees do a range of HR related tasks such as select a pension or company car.
